On February 25th, 2020, Vatel Hanoi first-year students took the final practical assessment on F&B and Kitchen skills in Maison Vie - Fine French Cuisine Restaurant, 28 Tang Bat Ho Str., Hanoi.



The assessment was organized in the form of a Luncheon hosted by students. Especially, It was a great honor to have VIPs from the University Board, Vatel Vietnam, Vietnam F&B Manager Association,  Hanoi Vino Club and top hotels in Hanoi (JW Marriott Hotel, InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72…) act as examiners.


“I am greatly impressed by not only the delicate flavor of served dishes but also the professional manner of first-year students after just a semester of theoretical learning parallel with intense practice.” said Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quynh, Chairman of Vietnam F&B Manager Association.



The event was also a good opportunity for the school partners to gain a deeper understanding of our practical F&B/ Kitchen training activities right at the training venue, Maison Vie Restaurant. All representatives from hotels highly appreciated the training conducted by Maison Vie, and believed that with so thorough preparation, the students would quickly adapt to the workload in their coming internship at hotels.


For the second semester of the first year, the students are doing internship at the biggest hotels in Vietnam under Marriott, IHG, Accor, etc. groups.
